Shefiu Muib is a Wikimedia community organizer, trainer, and open knowledge advocate working across Africa at the intersection of education, digital skills development, and knowledge equity. He co-founded the Wiki AfroDemics Project and has contributed close to 30,000 edits across Wikimedia platforms. His work focuses on closing content gaps related to African history, academics and scientists, public health, and underrepresented communities through article creation, Wikidata enrichment, and community coordination.

His work centers on designing and facilitating inclusive learning experiences, including training sessions, edit-a-thons, and mentorship programs. These initiatives support new and emerging contributors-particularly women, youth, and underserved groups-while building accessible pathways for active participation and leadership within Wikimedia communities.
