With Wikimedia Communities and Usergroups across Africa announcing their national winners – and hopefully uploading them to the Wiki Loves Africa National Winners Page on Commons so they are eligible for the Wilson Oluoha Prize (Regional Focus) – the shortlisted hopefuls announced over the last week on our YouTube channel need wait no longer! Well, maybe a few hours more.

We will be announcing the International Winners for the Photography, Video and Audio Prizes on our social media today, 15 August 2026, starting at 8:00 AM UTC and announcing one winner hourly.
