Code de conduite<\/h3>\n

All\u00a0Wiki In Africa staff and members of the Board are required to abide by this Code of Conduct. It is also intended to provide guidance for project members, volunteers and partners.<\/i><\/p>\n

1. Treat other people with respect.<\/b><\/p>\n

In general, people acting on Wiki In Africa\u2019s behalf should aim to be honest and ethical in their dealings with each other, with community members, project users, partners, suppliers and the public.<\/p>\n

Wiki In Africa will not practice or tolerate discrimination on the basis of place of origin, ethnicity, citizenship, gender, age, political or religious affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, family relationship, or economic or medical status. Wiki In Africa\u00a0strives to treat all people with respect, and to foster a productive environment free of harassment, intimidation and discrimination.<\/p>\n

People acting on Wiki In Africa\u2019s behalf may not behave violently, or threaten violence.<\/p>\n

2. Respect confidentiality.<\/b><\/p>\n

People acting on Wiki In Africa\u2019s behalf must respect and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information they have gained due to their association with the organisation. This may include personal information about community members or members of the general public, and\/or information about the internal workings of Wiki In Africa or its partners or suppliers.<\/p>\n

3. Maintain accurate, honest and complete books and records.<\/b><\/p>\n

Wiki In Africa\u2019s books, records, accounts and financial statements must be maintained in appropriate detail, and must conform both to applicable law and to the\u00a0organisation’s internal systems of controls.<\/p>\n

4. Represent the best interests of Wiki In Africa.<\/b><\/p>\n

People acting on theWiki In Africa’s behalf should aim to advance the organisation\u2019s legitimate interests, and should never do anything that could bring the\u00a0organisation into disrepute.<\/p>\n
